Blackberry #1’s Indoor Playground Birthday Party

On November 13th Blackberry #1 turned 6. Each year he has a party for his little friends. Untill this year it was always in our flat. But this year after reading a great post at kids”r”simple : http://kidsrsimple.com/2013/11/07/having-fun-party-at-fungiggles-giveaway/

I decided to host Blackberry #1’s birthday at an indoor playground. It has alot of pros: no cleaning the flat before or after the party, no dish washing. nothing gets broken, and more room for the kids to run.

The only cons is the money, it is kind of expensive. But I found an indoor playground pretty close to our flat, that is not that big, but this way you get to rent out the whole thing for 3 hours, no strangers are allowed during the party. It turned out I knew the owner so I even got a discount. The price includes 15 kids for 3 hours, face painting, games, a cake! and photographing!

The party was great, 15 kids came (12 boys, 3 girls).

Have you ever held or been to a party at an indoor playground? How was it?

August 20th

August 20th is the foundation of the Hungarian state by Saint Stephen, celebrated as a National Day in Hungary.

It also means 2 things: fireworks and the debute of the cake of the country (each year they choose a new one).

This year the choosen cake is: a honey-walnut cake.

Ofcourse every year I have to taste the cake as soon as possible:) I have to say this years choice is a real winner!

We also went out for pizza.

Blackberry #1 loves lemonade.

and pizza.

After pizza we went for a long walk and saw a yurt, then we had to jum-jump on the bouncy castle.

ImageWe waited and waited for the fireworks at 9pm, but it was cancelled because of the strong winds:(
